Lets work together with Cornwall Council to ensure Cornwall as a whole reaches net zero by 2030. Let's make Cornwall Council through our support, accountable to the people. Read about the last People's Assembly from a newcomer's point of view, here on our Blog. See the Council's answer to this question, click here What is the council’s plan to address the looming fuel poverty crisis by reducing the use of fossil fuels in Cornwall ? Will this include a public information campaign on moving away from fossil fuels and insulation advise including tips such as secondary glazing, reflectors behind radiators, draft protectors etc? The idea behind the monthly meetings at County Hall: Now is the time to hold our leaders accountable. By developing positive working relationships with Cornwall Council officials, we have the real possibility of enabling Cornwall Council and Cornwall as a whole to be net zero by 2030. We all have a part to play. To do this Cornwall Council must act now, if they are to reach that target. Small things matter, switching off unnecessary lighting and shop lights, reducing speed limits, better Insulation, can be done now. Let's make them accountable. If they do not act now we will not reach net zero by 2030. Lets support Cornwall Council and Cornwall as a whole, to reach net zero. Join us in future. All welcome.
